It is in this spirit that we have adopted specific technical solutions allowing us to adhere to the protocols of OK Compost – Vinçotte certification using biodegradable and compostable inks and colouring pastes.
This marking can only be applied to products compliant with European standard EN13432. This standard defines the “requirements for packaging recoverable through composting and biodegradation”.
The marking and standard define the necessary characteristics of a material and product in order for it to be considered, for all intents and purposes, compostable and biodegradable.
